Sonoma Sustainable Tour

Sonoma is home to some of the most stunning topography in California. Between the coast to the west, the Mayacama Mountains to the east, and the rivers, valleys, redwood forests, and lakes in-between, it's a destination the conscious traveler should not miss. There are many forms of sustainability in Sonoma, and in the wine industry. Some vineyards take a biodynamic / organic approach, while others look to limiting their footprint in the region through things like solar power and recycled water. For those looking to visit Sonoma's sustainable vineyards, we've put together our Sonoma Sustainable Tour. To book this tour you can contact us via our Contact Us page, or send us an email at info@wcwinecountry.com.

Sonoma Sustainable Tour:
  • Book your tour with Healdsburg Tours in their Tesla Model X SUV - it's roomy, space age-y, and you'll travel in style in a zero emissions vehicle.

  • Start your day at Silver Oak's new Leed Certified facility in the Alexander Valley, or head over to their neighbor Medlock Ames for a tour of their Bell Mountain Ranch property.

  • For those curious to learn more about biodynamic farming, stop by Quivira or DaVero. Both wineries are in the Dry Creek Valley and have beautiful farms on-site.

  • Keep it local with lunch at one of our two favorite spots: Jimtown Store and Dry Creek General Store. Both options serve up delicious lunch options and feature a plethora of local cheeses, meats, breads, and produce.

  • After lunch swing by one of the area's many gardens or farms for a quick look around or a tour. We love the gardens at Kendal Jackson and the orchards at Dry Creek Peach.

Finish the day at one of the area's many farm-to-table restaurants (we love the Farmhouse Inn or SingleThread Farms for fine dining, and Campo Fina or Spinster Sisters for a casual evening).

This tour starts at $800 for two people and does not include meals, tax, or gratuities. To inquire about booking please fill out our Contact Us form or email us at info@wcwinecountry.com.
