Sonoma is known for its variety of topography, bountiful agriculture, and sprawling landscapes. Below is a tour that encompasses the range Sonoma has to offer visitors.
Morning: We think one of the best ways to appreciate the topography of Sonoma is with an outdoor tasting at Iron Horse. Here you'll enjoy incredible vista views paired with an outdoor tasting of their Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and/or sparkling wines.
Lunch: Grab lunch to-go from Pascaline Cafe (or other great local eatery) and head deeper into the Russian River Valley to Armstrong Redwoods. Enjoy a picnic lunch under the canopy of the trees.
Afternoon: Perched on a hilltop facing southwest, enjoy a seated tasting at Gary Farrell as you take in the incredible views from on-high. While it'll be hard to leave, you do have one more spot to visit before wrapping up the day.
Late Afternoon: Head down Eastside Road towards Copain. Overlooking the heart of the Russian River Valley, take in views of parks and vineyards, along with delicious wines and warm hospitality.
